What is Afterpay?

Afterpay is a service that allows Blue August to offer customers the ability to make purchases now and pay for them in four installments, made every 2 weeks, without any interest. 

How do I use Afterpay?

Just shop blueaugsutshoes.com and checkout as usual. At checkout, choose Afterpay as your payment method. You will be directed to the Afterpay’s website, Afterpay.com, to register and provide details for the payment method you’ll be using to make your installment payments (Visa or Mastercard credit or debit cards only). If you’ve used Afterpay before, just log into your Afterpay account. Then complete your order -- it’s that easy!

Please note, all items in your shopping bag must be eligible for Afterpay, and the order value must be between $35 and $1000. Some items, like gift cards, may not be eligible for use of Afterpay as a method of payment.

What forms of payments can I use to make installment payments to Afterpay?

Visa and Mastercard (credit or debit cards) are the only accepted forms of payment when using Afterpay.

What is Afterpay privacy practices? 

Even though you are shopping with Blue August, you’ll be providing personal information directly to Afterpay if you opt to make a payment for a Blue August order using Afterpay.

If there is a conflict between these FAQs and Afterpay’s Payment Purchase Agreement, the Payment Purchase Agreement will apply.

Returns & Exchanges

To return items purchased using Afterpay, follow Blue August standard return process and return policy. We encourage you to mail in your returns of items purchased using Afterpay so that your refund syncs up with your Afterpay account. If you mail in your returns to Blue August, the refund will be made from Blue August to Afterpay and when this refund is processed, it will drop into your Afterpay account, which can be accessed on Afterpay.com or the Afterpay App.

Refunds from any other types of returns of items purchased using Afterpay will not be applied to your Afterpay account and even if you receive a refund from Blue August for such a return, you remain obligated to pay your Afterpay account in full (in accordance with Afterpay’s Purchase Payment Agreement). Can I exchange or receive a store credit for returning an items purchased with Afterpay? 

Exchanges, or store credit are not available for items purchased using Afterpay.

What products are not eligible for purchase using Afterpay?

You can’t use Afterpay to purchase Blue August e- Gift cards. Afterpay may be unavailable for use on the purchase of additional items. You will need to purchase your gift cards separately from orders with items eligible for purchase using Afterpay.

Can I modify an order after I use Afterpay? 

Once Afterpay has approved an order, order details cannot be modified, and items cannot be added to the order. Blue August encourages customers to place a new and separate order if they would like to add additional items to their purchase.

Blue August can issue full or partial refunds for any reason.
